Support of NBT exemplifies Peddinghaus’ commitment to the future of the industry.

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT), the foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA), announced that Peddinghaus Corporation, a manufacturer of structural steel fabricating machinery, has been bestowed with the 2023 Impact on Industry Award. The honor was revealed during the NBT Awards Gala in Mount Prospect, Ill. 

Peddinghaus is the longest-standing member of FMA since joining the association in 1970. Recognizing the critical importance of skilled workers led to the company’s active participation in FMA and with its foundation. Lyle Menke, CSO of Peddinghaus at the time, spent many years as a dedicated board member of FMA, culminating in his service as the FMA Board Chair from 2017 to 2018.  

Peddinghaus knows all too well that the workforce of skilled craftsmen who build their machines needs to be nurtured and recruited.
