At these co-located events in Chicagoland next month you will be sure to gain your share of knowledge, while working in 18 holes–all for a good cause. You choose to attend one or both days based on your availability and preference.
Day One – Golf Outing – Aug. 22
Come to beautiful Cantigny Golf Course in Wheaton, Ill. Gather your favorite golf partners for an afternoon filled with camaraderie, a golf demo, games, and prizes. New contests are planned for the day, including a baby pool “Splashie” and Beat the Pro, so be sure bring your A game!
Clipper Industries, Inc. in Itasca, Ill. will be opening their doors for a facility tour at 9 a.m. where you’ll see laser, punch, and plasma cutting; precision forming; machining; as well as robotic welding. Between 11 a.m.-Noon you’ll have the option to pick up a few golf fitness tips and tricks from Paul Callaway to keep your body as sharp as your mind. Then enjoy a buffet lunch before hitting the links for a full day of golf on one of the area’s highly-acclaimed courses. Shotgun begins at 1 p.m., cocktail reception and dinner to follow with award presentations.
The proceeds of the NBT Open are used to fund summer camps and award scholarships to manufacturing students.
Day Two – Conference – Aug. 23
