Get Involved!

FMA and TPA are always seeking volunteer leaders like you, with a thumb on the pulse of the industry. The Education Department recruits individuals to speak at its conferences, instruct its courses, and participate on its Technology Councils. Read on to learn how you can help shape the future of your industry!

Technology Councils

FMA and TPA cultivate 15 Technology Councils that help determine the associations' direction within specific industry areas. The councils develop content for new educational programs and resources. Council participation presents a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills, share your expertise, make valuable contacts, and exchange ideas on technical and management topics that affect metal processors and fabricators worldwide.

Become a Course Instructor

The industry depends on FMA to provide outstanding educational opportunities--and that can only be achieved with the help of experienced professionals who are willing to share their knowledge. Instructors enjoy competitive pay, great networking opportunities, and the chance to build a consulting base. If you can instruct a training program, please tell us about it!

Speak at a Conference

FMA and TPA conduct several annual conferences in venues across North America, and we're continually in search of presentations that cover the latest industry trends. Conferences offer speakers the opportunity to introduce their companies and products to an engaged audience, gaining them highly qualified business leads in the process. See which events are currently scheduled or submit an abstract with your contact information.
