Join the FMA community
- Want to align yourself with the metal forming and fabricating industry and be part of the FMA community? Join FMA or TPA as a Student Member. You are eligible for Student Membership if you are a full-time high school student or carry at least a 12-credit course load in college or technical school. Dues are $25 annually. Join as a Student Member.
Get noticed
- As a member, your name will appear in the FMA/TPA Member Directory, identifying you as an industry participant.
Attend a manufacturing summer camp
- What will you do next summer? Why not try your hand at welding and fabricating, designing with CAD, or using robotics and laser technology? Find an FMA Foundation manufacturing camp near you. Expect "aha!" moment as you explore the high-tech wonders of manufacturing.
Join a robotics team
- Build a "bot" and make it perform! FMA partners with FIRST Robotics to bring robot-building competitions to 37,000 high school students around the globe.
Apply for a scholarship
- Find out if you qualify for a scholarship of between $2,000 and $5,000 per school year. The FMA Foundation awards scholarships to students for trade school or college coursework that may lead to a career in manufacturing.

Earn credentials
- Establish your credentials and gain recognition for your expertise with FMA's Precision Sheet Metal Operator Certification or FMA's Roll Form Operator Skilled Trade Certificate.
