Leverage Extensive Industry Experience
FMA brings together professionals from the metal processing, forming, and fabricating industry to provide you with networking and benchmarking opportunities that can be essential to your business.
Learn from fellow leaders, obtain valuable perspectives and advice on both day-to-day operational challenges and strategic decisions. Groups gather at face-to-face meetings and facility tours, as well as FMA’s Annual Meeting.
To leverage the extensive experience from industry professionals across the membership ranks, FMA coordinates small peer advisory groups around shared business demographics. Each is comprised of five-six geographically dispersed member companies who meet quarterly to share operational / financial metrics and know-how.

What Users Are Saying
"This is a fragmented field, often people don't like to share their experiences or what they’ve learned. We almost live in silos. But at the end of the day, we can learn from others."
"The takeaway is that it [Users' Group] has really helped us as a company have access to a lot of tools and information to help us be more successful."
"There might be something I'm struggling with in the Midwest and a colleague in Seattle has the same issue. It's great to have people who understand, people I can bounce ideas off of and share with, people who are really open."
"FMA Users' Groups are the perfect way to be part of a team of trusted business advisors. We're protective of our businesses and don't share much with potential competitors. In the users' group, I'm with like-minded and experienced company owners who don't compete. We share data and help each other evaluate business choices. It's a very valuable relationship."
"Our users' group is made up of like-minded business owners that want their companies to be BETTER. We've created an environment where we're building trust and that will lead to being able to challenge each other in the future. Benchmarking our financials together; seeing other companies' processes, machines, workforce; and solving our business issues have become the format for our quarterly meetings (and a little fun too)."
