The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA) has a professional staff to provide support for the activities of the Association. Staff works closely with volunteers from the board of directors, technology councils, and committees. FMA is made up of ten different staff-driven departments, each of which is charged with accomplishing a key component of the benefits and services we provide to our members and customers. Provides a broad spectrum of high-quality educational programs to enhance the level of competence for individuals involved in metal forming and fabricating.
Executive Office:
Maintains liaisons with FMA leadership and other professional associations to advance the interests of the membership and the metal forming and fabricating industry.
Serves as an educational, research, and charitable organization. Funds raised are used for training and to provide scholarships and grants to conduct research relating to metal forming and fabricating technology.
Responsible for member relations and the ongoing development of member benefits and services. Helps members and customers find answers to questions, as well as provide support for FMA products and services.
FMA's Research Center is the largest and most extensive library devoted to the metal forming and fabricating industry. Research assistance is a benefit of membership.
Supports the metal forming and fabricating industry with leading publications - The FABRICATOR®, TPJ - The Tube & Pipe Journal®, STAMPING Journal®, and Practical Welding Today®.
E-newsletters deliver the latest industry news and product information. Online discussion forums provide constant contact to the metal fabricating community.
